Day 96: An epistle from the occupation

Everywhere I looked today the news read, “administration and SCOTUS headed for inevitable showdown”.

Again the sociopath seems determined to destroy the Republic driven by his lurid fantasies of millions of degenerate rapists pillaging the McMansions of white America. This time it’s a young man, a 20-year-old Venezuelan, an undocumented immigrant referred to as “Cristian” in District Judge Stephanie Gallagher’s ruling. District Judge Stephanie Gallagher apparently missed something along the way, she was after all appointed by the sociopath, so where’s her loyalty to the crown?

Gallagher ruled that Christian was illegally expatriated to El Salvador by the government whose agents willfully disregarded a legally binding and court-approved settlement agreement. Under the settlement the US agreed not to deport migrants who arrived as unaccompanied minors until their asylum claims are completely adjudicated. Christian’s was not.

Instead Christian was kidnapped by ICE and expatriated to El Salvador without due process, illegally transported under the sociopath’s unlawful invoking of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act. An act with limited scope that gives the president the authority to swiftly expel foreign invaders during wartime.

During wartime. We are not at war, I know this for so many reasons but most importantly to this case because Congress has not declared one. So what the hell is Congress doing? This should not be left to the courts, the Republican Party has become a party of criminals, showboats, blowhards, dimwits, cowards, and bootlickers.

The Democrats in Congress, after pulling off their powerful dressed-in-pink-revolution, have done jack shit. With the exception of one stirring day from NJ’s Sen. Cory Booker.

And all day today the press used this headline “heading for inevitable showdown“. Why is it inevitable? What madness has broken out? He is not a dictator, Congress has responsibilities, he can only invoke the act if we are at war and we are not at war. Congress needs to let him know we’re not at war, but they’re all afraid of not being reelected, afraid he’ll give them some childish nickname and run one of his MAGA-goons against them ignoring the fact that he’s not exactly been down-ticket gold, ever. We are at the mercy of a millionaires-club of pearl-clutching cowards.

And what’s up with the country? What’s up with me? Why the hell aren’t we closing this country down until sanity returns. We’re betting the farm on his handpicked Supreme Court to return sanity to the country. Not a great bet. Where are the unions, the churches, the temples, and the mosques? Why aren’t students and faculty shutting college campus down across the country? Is everybody really that afraid of this pathetic old fart? He’s a coward, a bully, with the attention span of a goldfish, and a curiosity of a tree truck who’s treating the Republic like his cash cow and a vengeance machine to rival Michael Corleone’s on baptism day.

A showdown between the executive and the judiciary should not be inevitable, the government was set up to work, the government needs to go back to working.

And we need to pull out all stops and wake these bastards up.
