Day 97: An epistle from the occupation

According to a Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll about the sociopath’s handling of immigration:

90% of Democrats disapprove

56% of Independents disapprove

11% of Republicans disapprove

What is wrong with the 10% of Democrats, 44% of Independents, and 89% of Republicans?

Or forget the others, more to my point is what is wrong with Independent voters in this country? Who are these people who awaken from a Rip Van Winkle style slumber every four years to decide who the President of the United States is going to be? Do they spend all the other days in between presidential elections in line at McDonald’s asking the kid at the counter “let’s see now hmmm….yes then let me see now…do you have hotdogs?”

It’s very weird to see a group break practically 50-50 on the question of kidnapping people off the streets and expatriating them to a violent foreign prison. I live in Texas and I have not met one independent voter yet. I lived in rural New Jersey never met one there, lived in urban New Jersey never met one there either. Hell I lived in the Village in the early 80s and never met one and I knew a guy who was surprised that NY had daily newspapers.

Who looks at that picture of Noem in front of the prisoners in El Salvador and says, “well I don’t feel one way or the other about this“. I mean the fact that 89% of Republicans think “well I’m cool with her” is at least consistently repulsive. And the 10% of Democrats who approve…we all have that one weird uncle, you know the uncle you don’t talk to on a picnic. We all have a friend who can’t decide what to order at Cheesecake Factory when everyone knows that’s a trick question, the answer is don’t go to Cheesecake Factory, but who are these independents? Are the independent voters all at Cheesecake Factory?

Leave aside ICE kidnapping people off the streets as if they are Mabahith and illegally expatriating people to El Salvador as if they are, well Mabahith. Just consider the tale of Hubert Montoya, the AP carried his story. Surely it should get a response from the independent voters. Montoya’s an immigration attorney and a US citizen from Austin TX. Mr Montoya received an email from Homeland Security saying he should leave the country immediately or risk consequences of being deported. “I just thought it was absurd” he said.

That email was courtesy of the train-wreck that is Homeland under the leadership of SWAT cosplaying fascist Kristi Noem. It was a ham-handed attempt by the sociopath to dismantle a Biden administration policy allowing people to live and work in the country temporarily. ICE, who are increasingly operating as the sociopath’s, well Mabahith, quietly revoked the two-year permits of some 900,000 people who were using a program called CBP One. Homeland it seems also apparently accidentally targeted a couple dozen immigration attorneys, a nod’s as good as a wink to a blind man.

So I’m begging the 10% of Democrats, 44% of Independents, and 89% of Republicans who approve of the way the sociopath is handling immigration tell me what will be too much? What does he have to do? What will push you over the edge and make you realize that you are supporting a man attempting to overthrow democracy in America?

What does he have to do? Start arresting judges?

Then meet Hannah Dugan, a Milwaukee County circuit judge charged with hindering Mabahith agents who showed up without a warrant to arrest a man in her courtroom.

Smarmy Pam Bondi posted “No one is above the law.” Except your boss Pam?

They have declared war on the Republic, if you approve of the sociopath’s actions regarding the courts and immigration, history will judge you as having been on the wrong side of justice. May God have mercy on your souls.
